Mark Pinsley knows that we’re all on a journey. Your journey may be one of getting an education, making your business profitable, or recovering from addiction. It may be one of growing older with dignity. It may be an immigrant journey or, once you have a new place to live, fitting into a society that doesn’t always feel welcoming or understanding.
His own journey is one toward community. A native of Pennsylvania, Mark is running for South Whitehall Township Commissioner where he lives with his wife, Nina, and their two children.
Mark’s story reflects the times in which he grew up and embarked on his work life, and the challenges of those times. He graduated from North Penn High School. Mark started college by attending Kutztown University and continued his education and graduated with a BS/BA in Finance from Northeastern University and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. While in college he joined the Army Reserves. Later, with a partner, he bought and has grown a small business, Dermamed Solutions.
Mark is an active volunteer assisting, among other programs, feeding the hungry with locally grown produce. He now seeks public office because he sees the current political climate and believes that we need to find ways to work together in order to cultivate community.
